Are you looking for a inexpensive but nice place to spend your holidays in Switzerland? We offer single and double rooms and holidayflat within attractive scenery.

The Berner Oberland is a beautiful region of Switzerland, with lakes, rolling green hills and surrounded by mountains.

The home Oertlimatt is situated between Thun and Interlaken right by the lake of Thun, 650m above sea level. Mountain excursions, hiking, boat cruises, skiing, swimming or bike tours are just a few of many attractions and activities our area has to offer. Interlaken, the famous place at the foot of the fabulous trio of peaks, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, is just 10 minutes away by train.

Summer-Guesthouse “Stöckli”:

In our very traditional guesthouse we offer single and double rooms and a dormitory for family-groups or school classes (toilet on the corridor and the baths downstairs). Open from May to October.

Double-Room “Wilerhalte”:

Room with TV, private bath and toilet.

Holiday flat:

1 living room, 2 double bedrooms, kitchen, bath, balcony and television. Accommodation opportunity for 6 persons.

Meals:

Vegetarian food – no alcohol, no smoking.

Breakfast 7.30 am - 9.00 am

Lunch 11.30 am - 1.30 pm

Dinner 5.30 pm - 6.30 pm

How to get to the Oertlimatt:

By car: Motorway A6 Bern – Thun – Spiez, then A8 direction Interlaken. From the exit Leissigen, drive in the direction of Krattigen. Continue about 2km (1.25 miles) up, and you’ll see the Oertlimatt to your left hand. Parking possibility near the house.

By railway: From the train station Spiez, take the bus to Krattigen.
